All the silver we use is recycled 925 Sterling Silver. Our gold vermeil/plating is 18 ct and at least 3 microns thick. This information will be stated in the product description for each item.

To keep your jewellery in top condition, we recommend the following care tips:

• Polish all Kim Jane Jewellery Designs jewellery with a clean jewellery microfibre polishing cloth, avoiding any gold-plated or oxidised areas.
• Do not expose your jewellery to chlorine, salt water, perfume, or other solvents, as this can cause tarnishing and deteriorate surface finishes prematurely.
• Always store your jewellery carefully after wearing. We recommend using an airtight zip lock bag to help maintain its condition.
• Please note that gold plating and oxidised finishes are surface-only finishes and will inevitably fade over time with wear.
• Do not wear your jewellery in the shower, while in bed, or while swimming.
• Remove your jewellery before engaging in strenuous activities, such as gym workouts or gardening, to prevent damage.

Sterling silver is susceptible to tarnish over time. This is easy to remove with a silver polishing cloth by gently rubbing it, taking care around any stones.

Yes! All of our products are covered by a 12-month warranty. Any manufacturing defects within this period, with proof of purchase, will be repaired free of charge. After the 12-month warranty period, any accidental damage or breakage can be repaired for a small charge. Please note that the finish on gold vermeil/plated items is guaranteed for 6 months from the date of purchase. Unfortunately, if all components have been lost, we cannot repair or replace your item.
